I've noticed some web sites that are touting using
ultrasound to mix biodiesel. Does anyone know if this
is legit or just some biodiesel scam? Seems like the
sound waves could be the ultimate mixer but could also
just the usual internet scam.

Alfred L. Loomis noticed the first chemical effects of ultrasound in 19=
27, but the field of sonochemistry lay fallow for nearly 60 years. The re=
naissance of sonochemistry occurred in the 1980's, soon after the advent =
of inexpensive and reliable laboratory generators of high-intensity ultra=
sound.
