First of all: thank you so much for working on this!

There are a lot of things happening at once: multiple book
translations, migration to a translation platform (Weblate),
improvements in automation, movie subtitles, new formats.

As such it is hard to keep track of all the work in progress. As such I
have concluded yesterday that it is better to merge work earlier, even
if half finished. So if you have a translation to go, please submit it,
so it can be merged already.

You are right about the text between the brackets. This is a nice-to-
have feature. We're working on ebook and webbook (html) formats. For
those formats having alt-text images and an index is helpful. So there
is value in translating it, but it is not necessary for the physical
book.

There is a script to generate necessary colors of existing capitals:

If your paragraph needs a new capital, you can draw it yourself (black
on white will do, it can be recolored afterwards) or we can ask Sandra
Brandstatter to do it.

Same for other images like the book cover and the protest signs. We can
put in text in fonts, you can draw the images yourself or we can ask
Sandra (I assume at an expense).

At the beginning of this week we created a new Matrix channel for
coordination: https://matrix.to/#/#ada-zangemann:fsfe.org
Using the mailinglist is fine too, and of course will reach other
translators too, so there is benefit in that. But if you have a quick
technical question regarding automation, you can also use the chat.
