Hi Ana, I just saw that as the only possible connection between the two initiatives, or at least in that sentence (FMPOV). Otherwise I can't see how they're related to each other reading that text. I understand that my suggestion can make the sentence heavier but a possible rephrasing could help to say the same thing better. FMPOV it's important to highlight that not refusing a Windows license will lead to the same situation of "End of 10" in the (near) future, with the "End of 11" and so on. My 2 cents. --- Gabriele Ponzo Il giorno mar 27 mag 2025 alle ore 13:47 Ana Galan <[email protected]> ha scritto: > Hi Gabriele, > > On 5/27/25 13:01, Gabriele Ponzo wrote: > > I would also add that "By demanding refunds for unwanted pre-installed > > software, Refund4Freedom supports this transition and helps users > > avoid unnecessary costs" _and incurring in the same problem (planned > > obsolescence) in the future,_ "while promoting device neutrality and > > user-controlled choices." > > I would not add that sentence as refund4freedom is about device > neutrality and not about a personal choice of changing or not a computer. > > Nevertheless, the technological obsolescence is one of the reasons part > of End of 10 so we are supporting it by supporting that campaign :) > > Best, > > Ana > > -- > Ana Galan - Senior Project Manager Communications > Free Software Foundation Europe > Schönhauser Allee 6/7, 10119 Berlin, Germany | t:+49 157 92 34 72 12 > Registered at Amtsgericht Hamburg, VR 17030 |(fsfe.org/support) > > _______________________________________________ Translators mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] This mailing list is covered by the FSFE's Code of Conduct.
