I went to the jedec site and poked around and wasn't really sure what was relevant for the altera board. Is there a particular document, or set of docs, that we should be looking at? How do those jedec docs relate to the info from Intel? Should the jedec info be assumed to superceed the Intel info, or the other way around? Is there anything around besides the specs that gives information about how to use these components in designs? Software normally has HOWTO documents for different types of programs and technologies. I've had a hard time finding that kind of info for hardware however. Are there good sites out there with generic overviews of how to plan for using different classes of components?
