You mean Wine and the codeweavers stuff to play games right? Samba is
just for sharing files and resources AFAIK. I'm not sure how well
VMWare does for games but everyone I talk to swears by the Codeweavers
stuff. Personally, I don't play many games, but I did buy a few Loki
games while the company was still in business. (Rail Road Tycoon, Myth
II, Eric's Ultimate Solitaire, Heroes III, Soldier of Fortune)

What's particularly interesting about the program at the University
where students "sign their life away" for a copy of an XP license is
that Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer are directly involved in it. A few
days ago I checked my university email account and there were legitimate
(I went through the headers line by line) email messages from both Bill
Gates and Steve Ballmer about the direction Microsoft was taking. My
jaw dropped! I've always been anti-MS based in part on their extremely
poor lack of support for the small guy. To get an email (even a blanket
one) from both Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer was a shock!

Cheers,

Chas
