One of the cert books I read had what I considered to be an incorrect answer to a question. I work with people who are in training for their MCSE, A+, and one for her SCO (she paid the money for SCO started making such a fuss). Many of these people are very smart people but they often miss simple things when working on hardware problems. Six years ago I did some work on a machine that had been taken into a shop where the owner had all kinds of certifications, the machine was a mess! I know the client didn't open the system, they were too afraid of touching any electronics. Some of the people in the A+ program know a lot and now have enough practical experience that they should be certified.
