I can't speak to your specific case, but we went from Cisco 7507 and 7513 to Juniper M10i several years ago and haven't looked back. The JUNOS interface is easy to learn (and for the most part makes more sense than IOS to me). Our M10is each have a couple of OC3s plus ethernet and channelized DS3s (for T1 customer connections). We've had less trouble with our M10is than we did with the 75xxs. They aren't perfect (nothing is), and I've been frustrated with JTAC from time to time (having to quote RFCs at vendor engineers is never fun), but not as bad as I usually felt with Cisco TAC. -- Chris Adams <[email protected]> Systems and Network Administrator - HiWAAY Internet Services I don't speak for anybody but myself - that's enough trouble. -- Eat sushi frequently. - Avi [email protected] is the human contact address.
