Please give me the name of a local ISP who, when I call them up at 10pm, I will be put through to call centre staff in their US operation, and when I call them at 3am, I will be put through to staff in their far east operation? Serious question, I know they're coming, and I want to move my business to them.

Who owns who and who has invested money in who is ultimately meaningless, what does matter practically is "who has access to the international skills base of the parent company or brand".

And yet speak to them about innovation and you inevitably get into an endless and ever more far fetched arguments about how stuff the rest of the world takes for granted can't ever happen in ZA. I realise how it works. Keep up the illusion of scarcity and the market will keep believing the high prices are justified. Rinse repeat for as long as possible.
