you are of course right. seven deadly words.

i guess then this thread is dead, as i respected you too much to argue
with you as well.

i also do not have to do anything as i really had no personal agenda
here, i actually wanted to do something else (had a more altruistic
agenda and that agenda was sidetracked), which coming to think about it,
is not that important to me. I guess that there are countries where privacy
issues are already resolved and if you do not like the heat in a kitchen,
go cook somewhere else.

what i would like to say, in closing then, is that seeing as I was not
banned from this list, for speaking my mind, this mailing list is far
more tolerant than Glug/fiefdom lists.

To the list in general: thank you for that.

==================================================
you need not read the rest of this, it is mostly diatribe against
random things and you can safely stop reading here...
==================================================

I am also now un-subscribing from this list - it has little value
to me and i cannot contribute to it - not because i am running away or
because of any other reason, i remember why i unsubscribed from it
before, it is a nice list, with many nice people, but the value is only
in it's tolerance and not in it's content. - i am still on the ioz tech
list, as i have been for a long time.

Paul Furber: No, I am not going to litigate or do anything against you
for your libel, at this time.

I have never sued anyone, ever (not to say that I will not in the
future). I have threatened to sue people, when they do weird
things like you have done, simply to get them to stop their behavior.
You are a special case though, you do not care and even defend your
libel, your editors at brainstorm.co.za and itweb.co.za do not care
about your behavior and neither does anyone else... I guess you must
really be an eloquent story teller and people really eat up anything
you type, good for you! - you are obviously also an excellent court
witness. well done!

a community decides what sort of society it is, what values they have,
if/whether they have ethics, their culture, etc. I guess I am and have
been lost for many years as my ethics and culture are not so much
instep with South Africa's and I need to consider that I either need to
change myself or whether I am a better fit elsewhere.

or maybe I am just full of cr*p and i am trying to be useful where i am
actually not . that is for me to figure out myself and i cannot learn
that on this ioz list. (i already know that i am rude and do not
give respect away freely - you have seen an example: Calvin could make
me disappear.

*poof* gone...
