Re: Chinese MS-Office + Wine

Wine is not Crossover.
MS word will work more or less flawlessly under crossover.
You download a trial version if you want to convince yourself.  (Of course, 
if you become convinced, there is a licence fee).  The small empty squares 
suggests a lack of unicode support. (The installer may not have it). I get 
a similar effect in OOo if I have not selected a Chinese font when typing 
Chinese.  Are you loading Chinese office?

We use MS word and OOo in the office.  While there are still issues they a 
fewer since the advent of OOo 1.1.  Many of the issues can be solved fairly 
readily.  If you have not tried  the latest version, I suggest it might be 
worth a retry.
We use the English version of OOo 1.1 with RH9 in Chinese.  Seems to work 
quite well.
