if i log into the samba server from a window box using explorer file://192.168.0.105 i got a log in box and samba username and password set up on the server are working fine if instead of the ip number I use the server hostname "localhost" I get error if I use network neighborhood also get error I use dhcp in my network from mac osx no problem from network interface and also to print on the 2 shared printers from the browser if I use the ip number to reach the server is not a problem but if I use "localhost" is not reachable guys thanks a lot, you are really cooperative!!
