Hi Peter

Here's a site that compares basically all known wiki engines:
http://www.wikimatrix.org/ Quick search there revealed 68 engines that
let you use CSS, probably fulfilling the separate layout / content
requirement. The other requirements are a feature of either the web
server (SSL) or are features present in basically all wiki engines
(logins, file uploads).
=20
I'm a fan of docuWiki, because of its nifty support for open office.
When it comes to easy setup, mediawiki is the king. Twiki is cool
because you can have different areas, each separately protected, but
it's honestly a nasty perl hack and doesn't look so maintainable.
TiddlyWiki is one of the hot new things, and lots of people appear to be
using it for Getting Things Done (GTD) style of work.
=20
Have fun.

	BLUGgers,

Since we're on the topic of the BLUG website, I wonder if anyone
has thoughts about the following:

We're planning to switch out the perl-scripts that run our
simple corporate web site for something off-the-shelf. Does anyone
have recommendations for CMS/Wiki solutions to look at?

	Here's what we want:

	- A simple corporate home page. =20
	  - No dynamic content, but easy to update.
	  - Layout separate from content.

	- An internal-use-only site with content that can be updated by
company employees.
	  - Password protected. SSL encryption a plus.
	  - File upload supported.
	  - Layout separate from content.
	  - Doesn't require administrator approval before content is
posted.

	Thoughts?

	-Peter
