I really would be interested in knowing what the specific issue(s) are. It
seems like these are exactly the kinds of users who would benefit from
google docs over a different, more technical solution? In my experience,
google docs is the easiest solution for non technically minded people. Now
that I know you're talking about non-technical users I retract my
suggestion of using git :D
