ADSL2+ on the Taradale exchange

Hi folks,

Just something a friend forwarded from a support request to Chorus re:
why the ADSL2+ upgrade on the Taradale exchange is behind schedule.

"Chorus has installed broadband equipment in your Exchange and
currently providing ADSL2+ service to Telecom Retail customers, Due to
bandwidth issues we are unable to provide ADSL2+ to all Telecom
wholesale customers but we wish to have this problem rectified by
early 2010. Although Chorus operates the physical network that your
telecommunications provider probably uses to deliver phone and
Internet services to you, and our Technicians may be utilised to
complete installations and investigate faults, you will need to
contact your service provider in regards to ADSL2+ availability."
