Did you catch what the package failures were? Did SAX2 install? Can you
tweak your X components through Yast or did your have to manually
configure XF86Config to get a non-German keyboard?

The reason I ask is because I have done the installation on a Dell GX260
and and old PII Vectra and ended up manually configuring X on both due
to SAX2 package failure. I suspected this was either due to the lame
video controllers in both systems or Novell might have a little problem
with the package. It would be helpful to know which I'm dealing with.
