I was the OT poster of drives :)

I seems 1TB and 1TB is easier said than done.  The Win7 install doesn't let
one choose which filesystems go upon which partitions or drives.  M$ did a
nice thing and broke out /users and put all one's user stuff there.
 Unfortunately, there is no good way (from google) to get /users anywhere
but c:
