What I do is go to newegg.com (or whatever vendor you want, ones catering to tech people usually provide more info) and see what is says. For example: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833320048 under "system requirements" it says: Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2000, Linux Kernel 2.26.29 This seems to indicate the driver is in kernel as of 2.6.29. I would still google "chipset asus PCE-N13" and see what you find. The first page of hits pulled up a several links that confirmed it seems to work well under linux. If not at least you can get the chipset and then google the chipset and linux kernel drivers. I've done this for several wifi cards and it's always worked rather well for me.
