Thanks for that Rod,
(1) DVB driver was compiled as module.
(2) I didn't think I would still have to compile Video for Linux since I'm using 2.6.12 and
a cx88 line is registering as video) [v4l2] but mayber I still do.
(3) I have 3 pci slots in that triton K7 mobo. I had to put in apci nic since onboard lan
wasn't working with 2.4.24 kernel and I've never checked to see if that has changed
with later kernels. In any case I had thought about reorganising pci cards as well as
seeing if I can now do without that nic. Maybe tonight.
