GFDL / CC by-sa compatibility

Hi.

Daniel, Alex, if you and anyone else wants to try to convince the FSF and CC that 
they should make the GFDL and the CC by-sa compatible, whether directly or via a 
WFDL, please do go for it.

Imran and myself consider that such attempts will be doomed to failure. However, if 
you don't believe us, then by all means go ahead and try anyway. Maybe we're 
wrong.

Seems rather silly to me to be debating what the FSF might do, when if the people in 
favour of the idea do something about it, then we'll *know* what the FSF will do. Far 
more productive. Perhaps one of you could draft an open letter to the FSF on meta, 
if you haven't already.
