Re: Use of binaries in Mojave

Dear Scott,
many thanks for the kind and clear explanation of the status of art; 
I'll stay with the source distribution. Unfortunately I'm too old (and 
too ignorant of present packages handling) to help with the maintenance. 
I did something of the kind in my institution, but more than forty years 
ago.....In any case, don't worry, it was a very helpful answer!
