Re: cannot install watchman?

When the read only system files for Catalina came out, there are some issues with acknowledging the command line tools being installed.  Normally the receipts are were put in /System/Library/Receipts but that directory is not writable anymore.

Try downloading and reinstalling the Command Line Tools from developer.apple.com

Also post the actual compiler failure that is listed, it should be near where the summary lines says "Failed: phase compiling: watchman-4.9.0-1 failed"
