Well that's interesting!  The only thing the VGA disable jumper does is remove
the VGA resource of the AST BMC, advertising it as a Multimedia class PCI
device instead of a Video class PCI device.  I would have expected the
installer to fall back to console mode versus exiting entirely, as there would
be no video devices available on the system.

Is the installer intended to function on systems without a framebuffer console?
 I so, I'm curious what's confusing the logic here.
