This one I find really annoying since the program is GPLed, so here we don't need to reverse engineer, figure out undocumented undocumented DOS, etc. Though it does come with a non-GPLed UMB loader that might be the source of trouble. The behaviour I get with GEM now: start GEM using gem.bat, fine. start the spreadsheet, fine (scgemm.app), enter 10*10 in box A1, you get 100, fine. Now exiting the spreadsheet by clicking on the square in the box crashes DOS. Bart
