Release? We are talking about the latest snapshot here. 3.6-release
kernels are not much different when it comes to mac68k. Try the latest
snapshot, do it.

Low risk-procedure? Again, test bsd.rd, you know, that is a RAMDISK
kernel that doesn't touch your hardisks unless you want so. As far as
the hardware in the IIci is concerned, it might work, it might not. I'm
looking forward to get your test report.

Upgrade to 3.6-current with the bsd.rd provided in the snapshot and let
