Re: Use SMP on i386

Whenever this pops up, no one ever mentions what actually exists, and 
who to talk to to get a copy to work on.  There doesn't appear to be 
any sys/smp or equivalent in the source tree. Is there 
architecture-dependent code for any platforms?  While the kernel has a 
# of CPU's variable, is there a scheduler that actually cares?  Or, has 
no development (or none worth sharing) occured, and an interested party 
should start from scratch?
