/usr/src/sys/arch/vax/conf/GENERIC and /usr/src/sys/conf/GENERIC
will give you an idea of what driver, pseudo-devices and options
VAX get compiled with.

no lpt. 

I also doubt VAX came with IBM PC's lpt ports. I don't use SIMH
since I have a real VAXstation 4000/60 so I don't know what that
software means by attaching a printer.

My real VAX can only use a serial printer over /dev/tty0[0-4] (can't
remember which one).
