“TE GJITHE PER PAVARESI!”

Te dashur miq,

Dëshirojmë t’ju njoftojmë se shqetësimi i shkaktuar nga zvarritja e përcaktimit të statusit përfundimtar të Kosovës dhe tensionimi i situatës që vjen si rrjedhojë, na ka nxitur ne, një grup përfaqësuesish të shoqërisë civile dhe forumeve rinore të partive politike të të gjitha drejtimeve, që të organizojmë një manifestim për pavarsinë e Kosovës.

Me anë të këtij manifestimi ne duam t’u bëjmë thirrje aktorëve ndërkombëtarë që të njohin pavarsinë e Kosovës, duke respektuar vullnetin e shumicës së popullsisë së saj dhe duke garantuar stabilitetin dhe integrimin euroatlantik të rajonit.

Ne ju ftojmë të gjithëve që t’i bashkoheni kësaj nisme për të manifestuar mbështetjen tonë të palëkundur për pavarsinë e Kosovës në datën 15 Nëntor, në ora 17:00. Manifestimi fillon me një marshim paqësor nga sheshi “Skenderbej” drejt sheshit “Nënë Tereza”, ku do të mbahet një koncert sensibilizues me këngëtarë të njohur shqiptarë. Pjesë e kësaj nisme është edhe nënshkrimi i një peticioni që i drejtohet OKB-së dhe treshes negociatore, SHBA, BE, Rusi.

Përfitojmë nga rasti për të ftuar organizata, institucione dhe individë që të mbështesin në mënyrë konkrete këtë nismë, si dhe për të shprehur mirënjohjen tonë të thellë për këdo që tashmë është angazhuar vullnetarisht për mundësimin e këtij manifestimi.

Ju falënderojmë paraprakisht të gjithëve për përkrahjen!

“ONE AND ALL FOR INDEPENDENCE!”

Dear friends,

We would like to notify you on our great concern related to the possible rising of tension in the Balkans due to the present delay in affirming Kosovo’s final status. This concern has pressed us, civil society actors and youth forums across the political spectrum, to organize a peaceful rally in name of Kosovo’s independence.

Through this rally we would like to call upon all international actors to respect the will of the people of Kosovo, and hence recognize Kosovo’s independence as a determining factor of stability and Euro-Atlantic integration for the region.

We urge you to join us in this initiative to demonstrate our unequivocal support for Kosovo’s independence. The rally will take place this Thursday, November 15, 2007, at 17:00 hrs. The rally will start with a peaceful march from “Skanderbeg Square” to “Mother Teresa Square” where we will also hold a concert with famous Albanian singers.

Part of this initiative is also a petition addressed to the United Nations and the trilateral negotiation partners USA, EU, and Russia.

We would like to use this opportunity to encourage different institutions, organizations, companies, and private individuals to provide their support to this initiative. Concurrently, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to all those that are currently engaged on a volunteer bases in organizing this rally.
