Re: your worst touring bike

In 2005 I toured with a group that included Smoker John. Since he rode
faster than I did, I sure couldn't say much about his smoking. : )  I
believe that's the only smoker I've ever toured with. Or at least, regular
smoker.

My mother was a lifelong smoker and took up cycling when her new swimming
buddies switched sports in the spring. It didn't take her long to decide she
could either smoke or cycle, but not both. That was the time she actually
managed to quit smoking.
