Has anyone tried smaller (thinner) tires? I know it runs counter to what most folks think about when racing bikes, but sometimes thinner tires work better on some bikes. Thinner tires are lighter than fat ones, especially when considering that one pound rotating mass = four pounds static mass; therefore, if you can shave 3 pounds off of each tire, you have the same effect as taking 24lbs off of the bike. Quicker spin-up (acceleration) and quicker braking (although contact patch may be reduced or at least altered, affecting traction...). ------------------------------------------------- For all your SV needs: http://www.svrider.com To change your list settings or leave SV650-L, please visit http://www.hawkgt.com/sv650/lists.asp
