I am basically getting the impression that the $100 digital card I 
purchased needs to go back because it will only be able to trunk the 
digital system if it is on a mixed-mode system, with the control 
channels at 3,600 baud.  If its 100% digital, I would not be able to 
hear control channels, therefore not be able to follow the trunk..

also, from what I understand, I should be able to HEAR the digital 
apco 25 signal but just not track the trunk unless its a mixed mode 
signal.. 

There I've gone and dove myself batty again.. 

does everyone agree??? (not on the batty part)  :)

If you have come here to find out about the 250D you have come to the right place! In fact the discussion of the BC-250D and how it works is the only acceptable topic on this list. Any discussion about anything other than the BC-250D is OFF TOPIC. I hope this is clear to all group members..
