I assume by "chip board" you mean circuit board (actually "printed circuit 
board" or PCB)?

I haven't opened mine, but it is EXTREMELY unlikely that it should be loose. 
If the copper strips are on the reverse side of the PCB, then you'll 
presumably need to remove the PCB to check on what has happened, then 
presumably make good the damage with a soldering iron.
