Uniden 785 XLT

Hi Guys. A long time since i posted on here,i need a little help if anyone can help,could anyone tell me how to program channels into banks,every time i instigate a scan,it will begin to scan with bank 1 flashing,but how do you get from bank 1 to bank 2,because when i do try it the figure 2 just disappears from the screen and leaves just an hyphen in its place,this happens to bank 4/5/6/and so on,any help would be appreciated.
