Two problems - Two questions......................

Did anyone of you have problem with a box for batteries? For me the casing has cracked up in that place. Has anyone of you had the same problem? I've glued it together and it's ok now. I'm adding a photo of place where the crack is.

Is it normally in this Scanner?

And second thing.

In Operating Manual in the table on page 4 is:

Press [F/W]+ Key for 2 seconds - [6(PW)] 
Display the operating time and total transmit time since you most recently turned the transceiver on.

I can't use this function. What should i do exactly to display the operating time and total transmit time. Do this function work generally?
