Perhaps I was being a bit unfair, however the irony is that on that day
a BBC News film crew was on site, on the banks of the lake, running the
Shugborough story. It had been on TV and in the press before and also on
the BPT website for months, so it's old hat - and a few hundred yards
away there is a Colossus rebuild and War time Historic building under
threat. Would that be more interesting news? Would the crew be allowed
to film there or escorted off site. If they would not have been escorted
off site, perhaps they can be invited back?
