Not really, since I am going to drop 1.8-compatibility in autoproj, and there are currently no way to hold on autoproj updates in autoproj. If you can give me a timeframe in which the 2.6-ruby1.8 support could be dropped, I could revise this position and wait a bit, or add a flag in autoproj to make it not update itself.
