These are all complementary things :-) Except maybe for the SmartSoft stuff and the things that Anders Oreback is working on at KTH. There will _never_ be something like _the_ Orocos implementation: Orocos is meant to be infrastructure software, with which to build components and applications. So, multiple implementations will always exist, I guess. That is an inherent property; for example, because you can use several ways to move a robot from A to B, and each of them will be valid in particular cases. Of course, it would be nice to re-use as much as possible. I _do_ hope there will some day be an Orocos API... :-) Herman
