newbe questions

hi,

first of all: is schematron dead?
no list-messages this month ...

here my questions:

is there any other tutorial than the useless(sorry) one at zvon? =
(examples are nice, but _some_ words would be nice, too)

how do i reference a schematron file in .xml?
which tools will validate against DTD+schametron?
