Then it very easily goes out of control.

For instance, I know many details about all the Java parsers but I
cannot add anything for Perl.
If in one language there is a clear leader it does not mean the same
for any other language.
May be the Perl community is perfectly happy having many implementations.

Anyway we can do it one-by-one. And Java can give a good start.
But I would like to keep each language independent. I mean I do not
see the  reason to put any delay on Java if any other language is
still choosing its favorite.
