I'm on IGS/Cybersurf with static IP. I've been grandfathered in keeping the IP
for that last 4 years now.

I've had issues with intermittent services from mail to web and news
(non-existant). Some email where lost due to hardware (me think) failure.

Now I have my own mail server and DNS relay, so my static IP is great for
that.

If I was to move to another provider, I would have to kiss goodbye to my
static IP since I don't know who in the region (Gatineau, Ottawa) would offer
the same at the price I'm paying now (1/2 price at 45 a month).
