I just got up and running with Teksavvy. While I did have a couple of minor issues (getting the correct smtp preferences), overall I'm pleased with them. I am currently waiting for a dry loop to get off the issues of line overloads I have had with wet loops before. The screwup I had was with Ma Bell. In the course of provisioning my landline for DSL, they managed to somehow cross me with another phone number and then my number was changed to someone else's. Ma Bell's "tech support" is in India and they really only make soothing noises. This happened on a Tuesday and after several hours of dealing with the support person, who promised me that a technician would visit me on Saturday - 5 days without service - I raised bloody hell and by Thursday it was repaired. I'm holding off on rattling the bars on Ma Bell's cage until after I have the dry loop working - then I'll be pushing some buttons.
