Since I need to sell companies on using various products such as PHP and PostgreSQL (I primarily take over failed ASP or VB code and port it to the PHP/AdoDB platform running on Win32 (although Linux is always considered and gladly used, authenticating to pre-Win2K NT domains from it is a pain)), I always look for advocacy/evangelism sites to support my points to the executives. www.UsePHP.net is a good start that was launched in beta phase in June of 2002, but perhaps we can integrate its content and look&feel better with PHP.net. It has been dormant, but there's no reason it can be awoken and properly promoted. Let's get the site up to date with fresh news (searching through relevant past press-releases of last 12 months or so is something I can do with ease) and add a uniform look & feel thus making the job of advancing PHP into enterprise (or government, as is in this client's case) a little easier for those like myself. Once that's done, perhaps an entry for it as use.php.net can then be added at the main PHP site. I believe Damien Seguy is the person ([email protected]) to talk to about this. If you'd like to set me up an account, I am known as wiseleo :-). I've simply read the archives (not that much traffic on this list) at news://news.php.net/php.evangelism to find the site. P.S. The doc and internationalization support issues are probably best voiced to the docs list. Leonid
