Description:
Strong background in Perl, especially as a scripting language within a
Unix/Linux context. Understanding of basic protocols and methods for
accessing web pages, including HTTP, HTTPS, GET, POST, etc.

Experience fetching web pages using tools, such as Perl scripts, wget or
htdig, while maintaining cookies and sessions as well as masquerading as
other user agents. Ability to make use of CPAN modules, particularly the
libwww-perl package and relate modules. More than confortable using and
manipulating regular expressions. Understanding of databases and database
abstraction layers, e.g., the DBI and DBD Perl modules. 


Required skills:
Applicants should have at least two years experience of PHP. In addition to
strong PHP skills you will also have a good knowledge of MySQL and
authoring technologies such as html, css, JavaScript. Knowledge of server's
administration (IIS) is a plus.

Desired skills:
The successful candidate will be comfortable working on projects under a
technical lead, and taking responsibility for design and implementation
aspects of smaller projects.
