What alternative is there? D3D only works on PC/Xbox/360 platforms,
and in a round about way (Cider) on OSX. I readily agree that OGL3
didn't go far enough to create a new, easy, fast API. But I don't see
myself giving up over it, even if it makes it harder to stay
competitive with D3D-only systems.
