Hi,

It appears a setting for exim was changed (disabled) via his cPanel which
has affected/resolved it. Not sure if this is a new setting as part of
recent exim update or if the functionality was modified between versions
and so a new bug/the cause of the gmail duplication issue though?

The message-id when referring to them being the same for both instance, is
the message-id from Google. The Exim ID is different/unique for both of the
duplicate emails.
